About the Zine
Iridescent is a charity (non-profit) BNHA zine based on the colors of the rainbow. There will be 7 sections each focusing on a certain hue. Each artwork will be using an analogous color palette to match their assigned section while writers will create a story based off of their assigned section. The goal is to create a gradient color experience for the reader as they flip through the zine. If you know us from Arise, this zine will be a much smaller project with about half the number of contributors as Arise.
This zine will include artists and writers only. The zine will be 8.5" x 8.5" in size and rated General, PG-13.
About the Charity
In light of recent events in the US, we have decided to donate toward a charity that is specifically geared toward human rights and civil liberties.
- "For nearly 100 years, the ACLU has been our nation’s guardian of liberty, working in courts, legislatures, and communities to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties that the Constitution and the laws of the United States guarantee everyone in this country."
- "Whether it’s achieving full equality for LGBT people, establishing new privacy protections for our digital age of widespread government surveillance, ending mass incarceration, or preserving the right to vote or the right to have an abortion, the ACLU takes up the toughest civil liberties cases and issues to defend all people from government abuse and overreach."
